Mayor Uy inspects the CCCC

Mayor Reynaldo Uy capped his activities for today by inspecting the soon-to-be-finished Calbayog Cultural and Convention Center (CCCC). The CCCC inauguration will be one of the highlights of the 62nd Calbayog Charter Day Celebration on October 16, 2010.

The CCCC is located in Barangay Capoocan, Calbayog City on the site where the old bus terminal once stood.

Mayor Reynaldo Uy graces the blessing at Kutay Islet

Mayor Reynaldo Uy was invited as on of the guests of honor during the blessing of the Shrine of the Most Holy Rosary at Kutay Islet in Barangay Malajog last September 4, 2010.

The project is an undertaking of Mr. and Mrs. Jun Oben and their benefactors. The site which is a potential attraction for tourism and religious events is highlighted by the more-than-lifesize image of Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary.
