Mayor Mel Senen Sarmiento hands over a Certificate of Commendation to PO1 Bernadine Valenzuela, a member of PNP Calbayog's TRACKER Team. Looking on are Vice Mayor Ronald Aquino and DILG Director Valente Bajet.The team members were cited for their exemplary performance which contributed to the immediate apprehension of the suspects and the immediate solution of a robbery incident which transpired on November 1, 2009 in Brgy. Balud in Calbayog City.
The other awardees were Calbayog PNP Chief PSupt Lito Bigoy; and TRACKER members SPO4 Edgardo Advincula, PO3 Charles Coprada, PO1 Maximo Repol, PO1 Kim Santiago, PO1 Marvin Rosco, and PO1 Ricson Paghunasan. The awarding was one of the highlights of Alay-Lakad 2009. (Henry Puyat)
