Mayor Mel Sarmiento (on June 4, 2009) received Dr. Dicos of the Infectious Diseases Control Program of the Department of Health Regional Office # 8. Dr. Dicos paid a courtesy call on the City Mayor together with some health workers of Calbayog. She briefed the City Mayor and the health workers on the A(H1N1). She also updated the group on the trainings the the DOH will be extending to Calbayog health workers. These trainings will include among other, A(H1N1) patients handling and transport.
