Women's Month Celebration in Calbayog

The City Government of Calbayog today joined the National Women's Month Celebration. The opening ceremony was held at the City Hall stage with Mayor Mel Senen Sarmiento in attendance. Also present were Councilor Ina Rabuya (Chair of the SP Committee on Women), Carmen Barangay Captain Amy Cabral and Myrna Tecbobolan of Bantay Abuso Network, among others. Various health, beauty and livelihood services for women were provided at the Cardinal Rosales Plaza (details of which I will be giving in my later blog updates). DYOG's Eleen Lim hosted the opening program.
