On March 6, 2009, Mayor Mel Senen Sarmiento led the program of the Aguit-itan Riverside Homeowners Associaton (ARHOA). The said program was the distribution of the certificates for the ARHOA members who have attended a Capability-Building and Enhancement Training. That training was conducted by the the City Government of Calbayog through the Urban Housing Division of the City Mayor's Office. It is a requirement for the more than 100 ARHOA member families to qualify for their Land Tenure Certificates which the LGU will be distribuing in July 2009.
