Updating the Score Cards

Mayor Mel Sarmiento was back from New York early this week. He arrived just in time for the short visit of President Gloria Arroyo. After the midweek holiday (Eid'l Fitr), he met with the various Department Managers. On top of the agenda are their updates on the Score Cards of the various LGU Departments.

If you may want to know, the score card system being utilized by the City Government of Calbayog was patterned after the one developed the Harvard University School of Business. It was introduced to Calbayog by the Institute for Solidarity in Asia (ISA), an organization headed by (President Cory Aquino's Finance Secretary) Jesus Estanislao.

The same score card system was introduced by Mayor Sarmiento to the Regional Development Council (RDC-8) and was encouraged to be replicated in various RDCs around the country by no less than President Arroyo.
