(09 January 2009) The City Government of Calbayog through the Local Civil Registry Office, in coordination with the Mutual Benefit Association (MBA) and Center for Agriculture and Rural Development, Inc. (CARD) conducted a Mass Wedding with Mayor Mel Sarmiento as solemnizing Officer. The event was held at the Girl Scout Home. 12 pairs of amancebados took part in the activity.
